Noah was dumped in the country and sat at the end of the driveway where he waited for his “owner” to come back. Every time a pickup drove by, he would sit up expecting it to be his owner. He never stopped hoping. We were asked to come and get him. He was adopted to a wonderful family that did not have a pickup. Noah’s family returned to Dirks Fund 4 years later in 2009 and adopted a friend for him named Ellie. They had Noah for 8 wonderful years.
“We will forever be grateful to you for all the joy you have brought in to our lives, not only Noah but our little Ellie (our 2nd Dirk’s baby) who is still with us. Thanks again for all that you do for these precious creatures. And thank you for sending those wonderful pictures of Noah the week we brought him home”
