Parker came to us in 2004 with kennel cough and we had no place to quarantine him.
It was during Christmas and no place had room for him. We put him in a crate in an office. One of our volunteers drove to his location and walked him 3 times a day and medicated his cough for 7 days.
Once he was better, a family came to see him.
Their last name was Parker and they thought that Parker Parker was a great name for a dog and adopted him. He was a very special addition to their family until he passed this month.
He was almost 10 years old and spent most of his life as “Parker Parker”.
